Radars sweep 81's
The Mapleton-Minto 81’s were eliminated in four straight games by the Clinton Radars in their WOAA Senior ‘AA’ final series.
The 81’s lost games last weekend by scores of 4-1 in Palmerston on March 25 and 7-3 in Clinton on March 27.
Joel Martinelli scored the lone 81’s goal in the Friday night contest, assisted by Zach Graham and Dustin Hebebrand. Nick Horrigan made 29 saves in the Mapleton-Minto net.
Scott Tregunna led the 81’s in scoring through the playoffs, racking up nine goals and 17 points, prior to Saturday’s final game.
