Quilting show
FERGUS – It was a cozy time at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex from June 6 to 8 with a beautiful display of over 200 quilts and 50 other smaller pieces hosted by the Grand Quilt Guild. About 75 residents from local assisted living facilities were specially invited on to view the quilts on June 6 before the official opening. Along with the quilts, five vendors and a tea garden were present. Over the weekend, more than 1,000 people from across southern Ontario attended the show.
