Quick cut raised funds for Ukraine Youth Association and supported Locks of Love
Hair today, gone tomorrow - Barry Dawn, a member of the Optimist Club of Puslinch, decided to cut his hair to raise funds for the Ukraine Youth Association, and raised more than $4,000. He also donated the ponytail to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for cancer patients. On Canada Day, Mayor James Seeley and Wellington-Halton Hills MP Michael Chong did the ceremonial snip with garden shears. They did not really cut his hair. Photos by Joanne Shuttleworth

He didn’t stop with his hair. Dawn also shaved off his facial hair with the help of an actual barber, Daniel Giardino.
