Puslinch to begin recruiting for new fire chief

PUSLINCH – The Township of Puslinch is looking for a new fire chief.

Council announced on Nov. 29 that, following a closed-session discussion, it had passed a motion to renew the shared service agreement with Centre Wellington until March 31, when a new fire chief is expected to be hired.

TOM MULVEY

Fire chief Tom Mulvey has been running the two fire departments since June of 2022. He became chief of Centre Wellington Fire in 2021.

Previous chief Luis Gomes retired in August 2021.

Brad Bigrigg served as interim chief in Puslinch until Puslinch and Centre Wellington entered the shared service agreement in 2022.
