Puslinch seeking input on recreation and parks master plan
PUSLINCH – The Township of Puslinch has announced the development of a new 10-year Recreation and Parks Master Plan and is inviting residents to help shape its future by participating in an online public survey.
The Recreation and Parks Master Plan will serve as a long-term planning tool to guide the future of parks, recreation facilities, programs, and services across the township.
The master plan will support informed decision-making and help ensure municipal recreation services continue to meet the evolving needs of residents, community groups and visitors, township officials say.
Community feedback collected throughout the process will help identify priorities, assess current and future recreation needs, and inform practical, sustainable and achievable recommendations for the next 10 years.
As part of this engagement, the township is inviting residents to complete an online public survey, which is open until July 24.
The survey seeks input on a variety of topics, including parks, trails, recreation facilities, programs, services and future priorities.
“The Recreation and Parks Master Plan is an important opportunity to establish a shared vision for the future of parks and recreation in Puslinch,” Mayor James Seeley states in a press release.
“We encourage residents to participate in the survey and engagement opportunities to help ensure the plan reflects the needs and priorities of our community.”
In addition to the online survey, residents are encouraged to participate in other engagement opportunities throughout the project, including a Sept. 16 public open house.
The online survey can be completed at EngagePuslinch.ca.
Puslinch residents are encouraged to stay informed and participate throughout the process, township officials stated.
