Pumpkin Day at Bissell Park set for Oct. 11
Look out Charlie Brown - great pumpkins are coming to the Elora Farmers’ Market at Bissell Park.
Sensational Elora is presenting its annual Pumpkin Day, a celebration of everything pumpkin, in Bissell Park on Oct. 11 from 10am to 1pm.
The event is free for everyone, from families to kids of all ages, and includes:
- prizes for biggest, smallest, best carved, best decorated, and many other categories;
- giant pumpkin carving demonstration;
- families can carve their own pumpkin to go;
- Mapleton’s Organic Ice Cream;
- face painting; and
- live music with the Hazy Maidens.
Donations to the Food Bank are welcome.
