Pretty Penny hosted Twinkle and Thrift fashion show

MOOREFIELD – The Pretty Penny hosted Twinkle and Thrift, a local fashion show featuring real women from the Moorefield area modelling curated secondhand holiday outfits on Nov. 7.

“We had so much fun we plan to make it an annual event,” Pretty Penny owner Erica-Lynn Klaassen told the Community News.

The event celebrated confidence, sustainable fashion, and the power of women supporting women, officials say.

It was supported by several local businesses, including:

– Hahn Rentals, who provided the stage and curtains;

– Corner Krest Salon, who did hair, and Brianna and Becca, who did makeup;

– MapleTone, which provided the sound and lights;

Undercooked Heat & Eat Meals, which provided treats; and

– Blooms on Main, which provided flowers.

“It was an uplifting night that showcased what small communities can create when local women and small businesses come together,” Klaassen said.
