On November 18 the Wellington County Historical Society will present My Great Uncle in the Great War by Ken Irvine of Guelph Civic Museum.
Through photos, letters and diary entries, Ken will present the Historical Societies November Remembrance Day Public Lecture. He will tell the fascinating story of his Great Uncle, Duncan Robert Irvine. Like many young lads from Wellington County, Duncan served in the Royal Canadian Artillery during the First World War.
