Prayer for Peace event planned for Saturday
ELORA – A gathering to pray for peace in Ukraine will take place on March 26 at noon by the cenotaph in Elora.
The gathering is being led by ministers and pastors of churches in Centre Wellington and will last about 15 to 20 minutes.
“As the war continues through its fourth week, gathering to state again the community’s desire for peace is appropriate,” organizers state in a press release.
Anyone from any denomination is welcome to attend the event, organizers say.
