Poster winner

Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington has announced the winner of the Student Poster contest.

Patrick Karrow, a Grade 9 student at Wellington Heights Secondary School here, submitted a dynamic and engaging entry.

He received a $500 prize sponsored by Rotary Club of Guelph Wellington, as well as a $25 gift certificate from Wyndham Art Supplies in Guelph.

The student poster is striking and colorful with an animated and graphic novel feel to it. It adopts the Crime Stoppers palette and will work well with the program’s existing broad distribution poster.

The message to students is that “It All Matters” and that no tip is too small, something Crime Stoppers strongly advocates.

The student posters will be distributed throughout schools in the City of Guelph and County of Wellington.
