Portion of St. David St. closing for two weeks
Beginning Oct. 19, St. David Street North between Garafraxa Street and Forfar Street in Fergus will be closed to through traffic.
The township will be constructing new municipal services required for upcoming area development.
The contractor for this project is EX-L Excavating, of Guelph. Construction is slated to occur from Oct. 19 to 30.
Notification signs in the area have been posted so residents can plan their detour route. During this time, traffic will be diverted from St. David Street along Garafraxa, to Gartshore, to Gordon, then back to St. David.
