Portage held annual Freedom from Addiction golf tournament
Golf tournament – For the first time in a couple of years Portage held its Freedom from Addiction golf tournament on July 15 at the Ariss Valley Golf Club. Many people who are supporting the movement showed up for a game of golf and camaraderie. There was also a silent auction table and food. Guest speaker Sara Fortini, who graduated from the six month program at Portage, told the audience about her stay there, and how it has helped her live an independent life. Amongst the golfers the youngest was 12 years of age. From left: Jake Warner along with Chris Krupicz, Brooke Warner and Craig McLean. Photo by Bill Longshaw
