Portage for Portage fundraiser held in Elora
Portaging for Portage – James Scott, owner of the Elora Paddle Company, travelled nearly 8km up and down Mill and Metcalfe Streets in Elora on July 30 in support of Portage for Portage to raise awareness for the residential program at Portage, which helps youth through their addiction. Two other people joined Scott on his trek, each carrying a 70-pound canoe: Ashley-Ann Maginnis, associate director of development at Portage, and Elijah McQueen. This year nearly $1,000 was donated to the team. Photos by Bill Longshaw
