Porch Pick Up Food Drive for CW Food Bank took place Oct.1
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Porch Pick Up Food Drive, co-hosted by Claire & Greg Real Estate Group and Jenn Locke Mortgages took place Oct.1. Volunteers from both businesses as well as the Fergus Whalers picked up hundreds of food donations from front porches across Fergus & Elora. In the weeks prior, 1,000 empty paper bags donated by Fraberts had been dropped off to houses in various neighbourhoods in CW. The food was delivered to the CW Food Bank on Sunday. The CW Food Bank is now servicing over 90 families weekly, up from 75. Demand is higher than ever.
