Ponsonby U13 girls team brings home silver in ISA League year-end tournament
PONSONBY –The Ponsonby U13 girls team brought home the silver medal at the end of their ISA League year-end tournament in Ponsonby in August. The team came from behind to win in the final inning of each game leading up to the final, including a 10-run final inning in the semi-final. In the final, the girls were tied with Mount Forest at the end of regular time and played an extra inning, but came up one run short. “The team played hard, had lots of hits and enjoyed many laughs together – well done girls,” team officials stated.
