Police beat: Burlington man dies in single-vehicle crash on Oct. 15
WELLINGTON NORTH - A Burlington man is dead following a serious collision here last week.
On Oct. 15 at about 11:50pm emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wellington Road 16 and Highway 89 just east of Mount Forest.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police later identified the driver as Dieter Lachmann, 56, of Burlington.
