ERIN – Lions Club Park play equipment will be relocated to Carberry Park for the next two summers.

A pumphouse is being constructed at the Lions Club Park location, forcing its closure.

A Feb. 16 town press release states additional space is needed by construction crews at the site, resulting in the decision to remove the equipment, along with several trees.

Following completion of construction, a new playground will be installed, along with a new pavilion and trees, according to the release.

In the release, councillor Bridget Ryan stated Carberry Park should be easy for families to access.

The park is located less than 2km from Lions Club Park, off Dundas Street West.
