Platt, Joyce Pearl (nee Redman): Peacefully at Headwaters Hospital in Orangeville on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of 52 years to Elwyn Platt of Grand Valley, loving mother of Kendra Platt (John Hudson) of Waterloo and Keith Platt (Ayron) of Grand Valley. Cherished grandmother of Sofya, Garrett and Griffin. Sister of Bryan Redman of Campellford. Lovingly remembered as a special aunt and great-aunt to her nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her “lifetime” friends and her many other friends and relatives. Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 20th, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 at the Trinity United Church, King St., Grand Valley. Funeral Service was held at the Community of Christ Church, Mill Street, Grand Valley on Thursday, March 21st at 11:00am. Spring Interment at Union Cemetery in Grand Valley.
