Plans for Junior A hockey team to be announced Nov. 22
etails of a new Junior A hockey team are expected to be announced at a press conference here next week.
On Nov. 14, Centre Wellington Township issued a one-sentence press release stating, “Media and interested parties are invited to a press conference to learn more about an exciting new Jr. A hockey team to debut at the CW Community Sportsplex for the 2017 hockey season.”
Township officials declined to provide any further details, beyond confirming the team will compete during the 2017-18 hockey season.
