The Fergus and Grand Celtic pipe bands performed throughout downtown Fergus in public places and inside businesses on April 12 in honour of National Tartan Day, held the previous week. The bands skipped the formal day on April 6 to avoid conflicting with Easter Monday. Around mid-afternoon on the Sunday at the Fergus Grand Theatre, the two groups filled the downtown core with the sounds of Scotland. Curious passersby stopped to listen and snap photos of the spectacle. Photos by Jordan Snobelen and Bill Longshaw
