Pierce, Dorothy Alyda (nee Langwisch); Passed away at Guelph General Hospital Friday, January 23, 2009 in her 92nd year, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Fred (1979) and special companion Logan Brickson (2000). Loving mother of Fred (Faye), Anne (Brian) Grinwis, Betty Lou (Wally) Wettlaufer, John (Linda), Bob (Marilyn) and Peter (Bonnie). Cherished grandmother of 20 and great grandmother of 28. We are awaiting the new arrival of a great grandchild in May to John and Jesse. Loving Aunt to the families of her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother John Langwisch (1957) and granddaughter Leslie Anne (1963), daughter of Fred and Faye. Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Monday (2-4 & 7-9pm). Funeral service was held at Trinity United Church 400 Stevenson St. N., Guelph on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 11am (Reception followed in the Church Hall). Interment at Hawkesville Cemetery, Elmira.
