CENTRE WELLINGTON – On Sept. 30, Mason Capital Group officials presented a cheque for $1,420 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington (BBBS), representing the proceeds from the company’s inaugural pickleball tournament on Sept. 12. “The tournament combined spirited ‘for fun’ competition with a shared commitment to giving back,” officials stated. They thanked CW Racquets in Elora for the court sponsorship, club manager Leah Desbarres for her support, and Forum MakeSpace Storage Fund for sponsoring the event. Organizers say they were “pleased with the funds raised, which will help ensure BBBS can continue its important work.”
