PICKETT, David Wetmore; Passed away following a lengthy illness with his family at his side, on November 10th 2007 at Groves Memorial Hospital, in his 72nd year. David will be sadly missed by his wife Elsie (Sparry). Lovingly remembered by his daughters Wendy Flewwelling (Earl), Sandra Pickett-Teixeira (Dave) and Tracy Pickett (Tom Corstorphine). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Matthew and Penny and his great grand-daughter Elexis. Predeceased by his mother Edith Pickett-McLelland. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday, November 12th from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted at St. James Anglican Church, 171 Queen St. East in Fergus, on Tuesday, November 13th at 1:00pm,  with Canon S. Witcher officiating. Interment took place at the Elora Cemetery. Friends and family enjoyed a reception that took place at the Church following the interment.
