PICKERING, Colleen (Goetz) entered into eternal rest at her home in Thorndale, On, surrounded by family on October 7th, 2016 in her 51st year. Left to mourn her passing are her beloved husband Gary, children Ryan and Rebecca, mother Margaret Goetz, brothers Bill (Sherry), Mark (Nadine), Frank and Ben Goetz, sisters Patricia (Chris) Bulley and Anne Goetz (A.J. Beasley), sisters-in-law Julie Lakin and Dana (John) Edwards, brothers-in-law Craig (Margaret) and Jim (Bea) Pickering as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her father Mark Goetz, sister-in-law Pam, father and mother-in-law Robert & Shirley Pickering and brothers-in-law David Pickering and Henry Lakin. Many friends and relatives were received at Donohue Funeral Home and Mary Immaculate Parish in London. Family was later greeted by many at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Kenilworth where she was laid to rest. Acting as pallbearers were her brothers, sisters and brothers-in-law. Colleen taught at Fanshawe College and was active in her church community where she was involved in the C.W.L., youth ministry, choir and co-coordinator of Deaf Ministry for London Diocese.  Colleen inspired many people through her remarkable strength, her faith and love of family, music and teaching. The family would like to thank everyone who prayed, sent cards, flowers, food and visited Colleen over the past year. She was thankful for all those who helped her on her journey to God. May she rest in peace.
