Photo contest set to celebrate birds' nests
Last year, NeighbourWoods, in partnership with the Elora Centre for the Arts, produced ArTboretum - an exhibit and sale of tree art.
This year, NeighbourWoods will have a booth at Art in the Yard event July 12 and 13 on the grounds of the Elora Centre for the Arts. The NeighbourWoods display will include a photo exhibit featuring pictures of birds’ nests.
Now is the time to pull out a camera and seek out a nest or two before the leaves again hide the nests.
Submit favourite snapshots for inclusion in the show - but do not disturb the nest. Send in a photo of a nest in a tree by Earth Day, April 22 to NeighbourWoods@ecee.on.ca.
Photographers who shoot with film are also welcome to provide prints. Drop them off at the office on the second nd floor of the Arts Centre, 75 Melville Street Elora or mail them to Box 1100, Elora, N0B 1S0.
