PETERSON, Dorothy Iselinda (nee Edwards) Passed away peacefully at her residence in Grand Valley on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in her 98th year. Beloved mother of Ivan (Lorna –predeceased 2016) and Margaret (Richard White). Loving grandmother of Chris (Georgia Peirce), Michelle (Rich Martin), Rosie (Dwayne Fuller), Jess (Scott Longstreet) and Katrina White. Sadly missed by seven great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Laura Edwards and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth (1993) and brothers Hugh, Clarence and Ernie. Family and friends were received Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 7-9 p.m., at Simes Funeral Home, 48 Main St. S., Grand Valley. The funeral service was held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment followed at Grand Valley Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Headwaters Dialysis Unit or Monticello United Church.
