Peters, (Cooper) Katherin Evelyn; At St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, July 1, 2011 in her 64th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Peters (Feb. 27, 1970). Mother of Sherrie and Pat McGaughey of Arthur, James (Jay) and Kim of Arthur, Bruce and Marilyn of Aurora and Robert (Joe) and Wendy of St. Jacob’s. Grandmother of Christopher, Kevin, Shyann, Charles, Laurel and Ethan. Sister of Paul and Margaret Cooper of Elmira, Bill and Barbara Cooper of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Marie and Bernard Rathwell of Guelph and sister-in-law Joan Cardy of Cambridge. Predeceased by her parents James and Lois Cooper and brothers Wilfred and James (J.C.). The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and on Monday, July 4, 2011 from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm in the Crawford Chapel. Cremation followed with an interment of cremated remains in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur at a later date. Remembrances to the Arthur Legion Branch #226 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
