Peter Pan a la Dufflebag Theatre runs this Sunday at River Run Centre

River Run centre presents Peter Pan on Feb. 21 at 4pm.

Dufflebag Theatre will bring J.M. Barrie’s classic story to life in an interactive production suitable for children ages 3 to 10.

The Dufflebag actors will take the audience to the enchanting world of Neverland, where fairies, mermaids, and pirates roam, and children refuse to grow up. Dufflebag Theatre’s original adaptation of the story engages audience members in the action, creating an energizing theatre experience.

Formed in 1992, DuffleBag Theatre has become one of the most celebrated companies at festivals and schools across the country. Today the troupe performs over 450 shows a year and has toured across Canada, the United States, and Asia. When it first started, all the props and costumes came out of a duffle bag. Now with so many shows to choose from, they need more than a duffle bag to hold it all, but “Trunk Theatre” just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Tickets are on sale now through the River Run Centre box office. Adult prices range from $17.50 to $19.50, and children’s range from $14.50 to $16.50. Tickets may be purchased at www.riverrun.ca, by phone at 519-763-3000 or in person at the box office.
