Peter Hansen to speak about trip to West Bank
On Feb. 23 at 1pm there will be a presentation with slides at the Erin United Church, 115 Main Street, Erin.
All are invited to attend this free informational event featuring Peter Hansen, who grew up in Ospringe.
This presentation will consist of a brief history of the Arab-Israeli conflict over the last century, ending with a summary of its current status.
Hansen will then speak about some of the region’s key issues, and the organizations working to alleviate them.
This will also include the work that his group did on a five-week trip through Israel and the West Bank, and the work that the trip coordinator (Operation Groundswell) has done over the past number of years in the region.
