Pero, Velma Jean

Pero, Velma Jean  (February 19,1936 - July 2, 2013); At Groves Memorial Hospital on July 2, 2013 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife to Don Pero.  Will always be remembered by her daughter Kathryn Lauraine Kent and her grandsons Thomas and Christopher Kent. Predeceased by her parents John and Laura Eling. Vel was an avid painter and loved to garden and cook. Cremation has taken place. At Velma’s request there will be no funeral. A celebration of Velma’s life took place on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at The Savage House – 45 Colborne St, Elora from 1:30 – 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in London, Ontario. Many thanks to Dr. Connelly and Dr. Lund, as well as the nurses at Groves Memorial Hospital.
