Permission to sell poppies
It took only moments for council to approve a request by local Legion branches to distribute poppies in Arthur and Mount Forest.
The request came to Wellington North via Merv Weber, on behalf of Legions in Mount Forest and Arthur.
He also asked that council declare Nov. 11 Remembrance Day and detour traffic during the cenotaph services.
