GUELPH – About 70 people marched through Guelph on Feb. 24 to protest the upcoming closure of the city’s supervised drug consumption site. The Government of Ontario has mandated the Consumption and Treatment Services (CTS) site close by March 31. The provincial government announced the plan to shut down ten supervised consumption sites in August, including the one in Guelph and one in Kitchener.
