Peewee tournament
The Centre Wellington Fusion Peewee Select Team placed second in the 49th Annual AHHA Peewee Tournament, held Feb. 1-3 in Acton. After losing their first game 7-3 vs the George Bell Titans out of Toronto, the Fusion bounced back with wins against Acton (7-2) and Hespler (10-2), securing second place in round robin play. A 10-3 win vs Acton in the semi-final punched their ticket to the championship final vs the George Bell Titans. The Fusion jumped out to an early lead 2-0 by the end of the first frame. The Titans battled back over the remaining two frames and took home the championship with a 4-2 final. Submitted photo
