Peeing perpetrator pinched again after pestering people

GUELPH – A man arrested nearly three weeks ago for exposing himself and attempting to urinate on strangers has been arrested yet again for breaching release conditions.

Shortly after 10pm on May 16, Guelph Police received several calls about a man approaching people downtown, trying to urinate on them and trying to grab women while touching himself. Police say none of the women were physically injured.

The 26-year-old Guelph man was charged with committing an indecent act and mischief. He was later released on the condition he not be in downtown Guelph between 6pm and 6am.

At about 12:15am on May 24, a witness familiar with the man called to report he was sitting on a planter at Wyndham Street North and Macdonell Street. The man was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking and released.

At about 6:45pm on May 27 “staff from a downtown business called to report a suspicious male harassing customers and staff, including following a woman as she tried to cross the street,” police stated in a press release.

The same 26-year-old Guelph man was arrested again for failing to comply with an undertaking.
