The Centre Wellington Fusion Pee Wees had three games on their schedule last week.

The boys started with a tough game against Caledon. The team could not get its game going and lost 6-0. The boys were on a mission not to repeat the outcome and in their next game beat Niagara Falls 12-1.

The Fusion then played a great game against rivals Burlington, coming away with a 3-2 victory.

Novices

On Oct. 27 the Novice Fusion ‘AA’ team traveled to Georgetown to play the Halton Hills Thunder. The Thunder scored three goals in the first for the lead. Keira Healey scored an unassisted goal in the third but the Fusion ran out of time, ending with a final score of 3-1 for Halton Hills.

On Nov. 1 the Niagara Falls Flyers visited the Fusion in Fergus. Brinley Wilson scored unassisted to get things going.  Niagara Falls scored one to tie it up, Eddie McDonald assisted by Liam McCracken took the lead back. The final score was 10-2 for the Fusion.

On Nov. 2 the Fusion again met with Halton Hills, this time in Elora. Halton Hills took the lead in the first with two quick goals, but a goal from Pereira put the Fusion on the board.  Later, a shot from Meyer found the back of the net, but the final score was 4-3 after an intense game.
