The annual Partners With Purpose (PWP) golf tournament is set to tee off on June 23 at the Fergus Golf Course.

The event is a fundraiser for the organizers, with proceeds going to support adult literacy and micro-business loan programs for people in Haiti.

The tournament begins at noon with a shotgun start, rain or shine, with prizes, including a cash prize for a hole-in-one.

Registration is $99, which includes a barbecue lunch, steak dinner, sleeve of golf balls, prizes for every player and a charitable tax receipt.

There are still opportunities for local businesses and organizations to sponsor a hole or  donate a prize.

Long-term supporter

Scotiabank, a long-term supporter of the PWP golf tournaments, will match registration fees or hole sponsorships signed at their branch.
