Partners with Purpose charity golf tourney for Haiti runs June 23

On June 23 Ontario Partners With Purpose will be hosting its signature annual event for Haiti.

This event includes a steak dinner, a barbecue lunch, snack bags and golf balls, a round of golf with cart, prizes for everyone, grand prizes and draws of many sorts.

The cost is $99. By participating, golfers will be supporting the adult literacy education program and the micro-credit loan programs Partners With Purpose operates in northern Haiti in conjunction with Haitian partners.

Participants can double the amount of money that will be raised by registering to play and paying a $99 fee or $200 for a hole sponsorship or both at Scotiabank on St. Andrew’s Street West in Fergus.

The bank, as part of a corporate program supporting charitable causes will match all revenue received at its Fergus branch

All funds raised are used in Haiti. As programs grow the need for resources rises.

In addition to a charitable tax receipt golfers have a chance at longest drive and closest-to-the-hole prizes and a cash prize for a hole-in-one.
