Parkinson’s disease group meets monthly

FERGUS - A local group for those with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers has formed and is welcoming participants to its monthly meetings.

Fergus Connections will meet the third Thursday of each month from 2 to 4pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on St. David Street North (Highway 6), across from Walmart. The next meeting is Oct. 17.

“We hope to provide a place where we can discuss our problems, plans and dreams, and realize that we are not alone and there are many ways to rebuild our lives,” officials state.
