Parkinson, Violet; Formerly of R.R. 4, Guelph, passed away peacefully at Riverside Glen on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late George R. Parkinson (1981). Loved mother of Joyce (Cecil) Cameron of Holstein, Ross (Irene) Parkinson, Lois (Gerry) Schinck, George (Pat) Parkinson, all of R.R. 4, Guelph and William (Helen) Parkinson of R.R. 1, Rockwood. Loving grandmother of fifteen. Great grandmother of twenty-nine and great great grandmother of five. Predeceased by two sisters, two brothers and one great grandson. Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 23, 2009, at 11am. (Reception followed in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre).
