Paris theme set for 2009 Hospital Starlight Gala
The communities of Minto and Mapleton have a long tradition of solid partnership with the Palmerston and District Hospital to help keep quality health care close to home.
Through successful fundraising campaigns for the annual fall Health Care Heroes Radiothon and the spring Hospital Starlight Gala, citizens contribute and celebrate the excellence in rural health care at their hospital.
This year, the foundation will again be celebrating this tradition of excellence by organizing the 9th annual Hospital Starlight Gala. This year’s gala will take place in Harriston at the Harriston - Minto community complex on May 23 with proceeds going towards the purchase of an anesthetic gas machine for the hospital. The theme will be Evening in Paris and feature a full country style meal and large silent and live auctions.
