Palmerston's Relay for Life raised $24,000
The final tally for the 2018 Relay for Life event at Norwell District Secondary School held here on June 1 has grown by several thousand dollars over the initial estimates of $17,776.
On June 14, relay officials announced a final total of $24,248.
“Thank you to all the participants, volunteers, supporters, community sponsors and committee members who made this event such a success,” organizers stated.
Relay for Life raises funds and awareness for the fight against cancer.
