Palmerston welcomes new tattoo studio

PALMERSTON – The Palmerston downtown core welcomed a new addition to its local business community on Dec. 5, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Lost Tattoo Studio.

The event, hosted by the Minto Chamber of Commerce and Town of Minto, and attended by town staff, members of council, Minto Chamber board members and owners/family members of The Lost Tattoo Studio marked the official grand opening of the studio at its new location (183 Main St.)

The studio is owned and operated by local residents Rob and Catherine Walsom.

While the business has been serving clients since 2020, previously operating in downtown Arthur, the Walsoms have made the decision to bring their specialized services back to their hometown of Palmerston.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rob and Catherine Walsom and The Lost Tattoo Studio to the heart of Palmerston,” said Minto Chamber of Commerce business development coordinator Raisa Abrahim.

“Having a successful business like theirs choose to invest in our downtown not only enriches our commercial landscape but also reinforces the strong, local entrepreneurial spirit we celebrate in our community.”

Rob Walsom, the lead artist, brings over 15 years of experience as a tattoo artist, specializing in custom designs.

His dedication to artistry and client satisfaction has earned the studio a loyal following, officials say.

The Walsoms have decorated the studio to create a welcoming and entertaining environment. Clients can relax and enjoy an array of amenities, including classic video games, foosball and pool tables.

In addition to custom tattoo artistry, The Lost Tattoo Studio also offers laser tattoo removal for clients looking to correct or remove past work.

The studio is now open for business and looks forward to serving both new and returning clients in the Palmerston area.
