Palmerston Lions plan bottle drive July 25
PALMERSTON – The Palmerston Lions Club will be holding a returnable bottle and can drive next Saturday (July 25).
Members of the club will be picking up cans and bottles in Palmerston only that morning.
The club asks that residents have their empties at the curb by 9am.
Rural residents with a Palmerston address can arrange pick up of empties by emailing Lion Dave Wilson at wilsondr1234@gmail.com.
Alternatively, empties can be dropped off at the Palmerston Lions Club shed, located at 120 Main St. E. in Palmerston (next to the Old 81 train engine) between 9am and 1pm on July 25.
Proceeds from the bottle and can drive will be used by the Lions Club for their numerous community betterment projects.
