Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation receives generous donation
MINTO – Royal Canadian Legion Frank Lambier Branch 409 Palmerston gathered some members recently to present $12,000 to the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation. These funds were proceeds from the Legion’s popular Catch the Ace draw and will be used to purchase a camera head for colposcopy procedures. “We appreciate this donation which allows us to keep quality care close to home for so many people,” foundation officials state. The branch’s Catch the Ace draws are on “summer vacation” and will be returning on Sept. 8.
