Palmer, Brian Stephen. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4th, 2011 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, with his loving family by his side. He was in his 60th year. Dear son of Dorothy and the late Stephen (1987). Beloved father of Gary. Cherished brother of Linda (Ross Bruce). Dearly missed by friend Rose Gibson. Loving Uncle of Sheila and Cathy. Will be sadly missed by numerous cousins. Brian worked  20 years for the Agrico Fertilizer plant in Orangeville and 21 years at the Walinga plant in Guelph. Friends and family were received at Simes Funeral Home, 48 Main St. S., Grand Valley on Monday, June 6th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel, Tuesday at 10:30am. As an expression of sympathy, the family request donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Monticello United Church.
