Paint night to be held for cancer fundraiser
Two Mount Forest residents are seeking help from the community for a mother of two facing breast cancer.
Sharon O’Sullivan and Kathy Walters are holding a painting party to raise money to support Beth Dancy, a single mother of two, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in August.
O’Sullivan sent a letter to the Wellington Advertiser asking for community help.
“Ongoing expenses relating to chemotherapy treatments are prohibitive. Help is needed,” she wrote.
The painting party will be held on April 15 from 1 to 4pm at the Mount Forest Legion.
Tickets are $45 per person and all supplies are included. A light lunch will also be provided.
