Outdoor appreciation
Leah Wiltshire shows off a bird feeder made at Luther Marsh’s annual Youth Outdoors Day. Rainy weather made the event’s 13th year challenging, but 245 students and 145 parents braved the weather. Event stations exposed youth to a variety of outdoor-related topics and activities, including bird feeder building, target shooting, habitat rehabilitation and fly fishing. There was also a number of demonstrations on hunter dogs, bow hunting and falconry.
