Optimists hosting beef barbecue
ALMA - The Alma Optimists Beef Barbecue is set for July 29.
Servings will be offered from 5 to 7pm at the Alma Community Centre at 51 Simpson Street.
Meals for adults are $15, children five to 12 eat for $5, while kids under five are free.The meal includes roast beef and gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, cabbage salad, roll and slice of homemade pie.
Proceeds from the event support youth activities in the local community.
