OPP seeking public assistance in robbery case

The Wellington County OPP Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate an armed robbery that occurred on May 3 at approximately 4:55am at the Mac’s Milk convenience store on Elora Street South in Harriston.

Police say a lone male suspect entered the store and presented a weapon. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

The male suspect is described as:

– 5’6” tall;

– wearing a black balaclava and camouflage clothing; and

– carrying a black and white CCM hockey bag with bright pink handles and trim.

The OPP is looking for anyone who may have witnessed or has further knowledge about this incident.
