OPP: removal of stop signs ‘puts lives at risk’

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Police are investigating the recent removal of five stop signs from a rural area north of Fergus.

Wellington County OPP officials say the signs were removed along Sideroad 20 at 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines in former West Garafraxa Township.

The incidents were reported between Dec. 2 and 3.

“Behaviour like this puts lives at risk,” states a Dec. 4 press release from the OPP.
